Currently in Los Angeles — July 6th, 2022

The weather, currently.

A cool, cloudy, overcast day

We survived Independence Day, and I mean that literally. The shooting in Highland Park, IL, hit particularly close to home. I was born in that town’s hospital, and grew up only a few miles away. Thankfully, nobody in my life was at the parade. I hope everyone in your world is safe, too.

As doing literally any activity outside your home becomes increasingly more deadly in America, you may be hesitant to enjoy today’s weather in Los Angeles. But it’s going to be cool, pleasant, and very cloudy, which might accurately project your mood. Highs will reach about 79°F, and you might get a little peak of sunshine before the sun sets. The evening will remain cloudy, and lows will fall to around 60°F. There will also be a strong breeze today, so look for palm fronds drifting from the sky.
